I’m Skye Hackett, a lifestyle photographer based in Junee, NSW. I grew up between Parkes and Sydney, but Junee has been home for the past 20 years a place that’s shaped my love for natural light, open spaces, and capturing genuine, down-to-earth moments. My photography style blends candid storytelling with naturally posed images that feel relaxed, real, and full of warmth. I specialise in families, couples, kids, and events moments filled with connection, laughter, and those beautiful, imperfect details that make life memorable.

Azure Jade Photography was born from what began as Blue Skye Photography. The name Azure represents the “big blue” wide open skies and endless possibilities while Jade is my middle name, a nod to the personal touch I pour into every session. Together, they symbolise a fresh chapter in my creative journey, one built on authenticity, emotion, and a deep appreciation for the fleeting beauty of time.

Photography has always been close to my heart. I started out studying photojournalism, where I learned to capture genuine emotion and storytelling through imagery. After losing most of my childhood photos in floods, I came to understand just how powerful and precious photographs are they’re not just pictures, they’re memories that bring back feelings, faces, and forgotten moments. As a mum of four and a grandmother of two, I approach every session with patience and understanding. I know kids aren’t always in the mood, and that’s okay  the real magic happens in the in-between moments, when everyone relaxes and simply is.
